Dhaka/Chattogram: This is for the information of all concerned that on the occasion of Holy Eid-ul-Azha declared by the Government of Bangladesh, all regular official activities of the Government Shipping Office will remain closed from May 25, 2026, to May 31, 2026.
However, the authorities have implemented a strategic initiative to ensure continuous workflow for international maritime trade and seafarer employment.
Emergency Online Sign-On Activities via Home Office
In order to keep the emergency seafarer recruitment process active during the holiday period, the online Sign-On activities will be operational as usual via Home Office. This ensures uninterrupted essential services for crew members and shipping agencies during the festive season.
