Move over politics—there is a new "Donald Trump" commanding the spotlight in Bangladesh, and this one weighs nearly 700 kilograms, has a gentle temperament, and walks on four legs.

Ahead of the Eid al-Adha festival, a rare albino buffalo raised at a farm in Narayanganj district, near Dhaka, became an overnight internet sensation. The reason? A striking, uncanny resemblance to the 45th President of the United States, courtesy of a distinct tuft of flowing, pale blond hair cascading perfectly across its forehead.

Naturally, the internet did what the internet does: it made him a superstar.

The Making of an Unlikely Celebrity

For weeks, the farm in Narayanganj transformed into a bustling tourist hotspot. Dozens of curious visitors, content creators, and families traveled from distant districts across Bangladesh, smartphones in hand, all vying for a coveted selfie with the celebrity livestock. Videos of the buffalo quickly flooded TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, racking up millions of views.

"My younger brother named the buffalo Donald Trump because the hair on the front of its head resembles Donald Trump," shared farm owner Ziauddin Mridha.

But it wasn't just the iconic hairdo that won people over. Despite its massive 700 kg (1,540 lbs) frame, "Trump" proved to be a gentle giant.

"Despite its striking appearance, it is very calm by nature," Mridha explained. "It is an albino buffalo, and animals of this type are generally gentle and do not become aggressive unless provoked."

Presidential Treatment for a Rare Specimen

Albino buffaloes are an exceedingly rare sight in Bangladesh, where native livestock is predominantly dark-skinned. With its cream-colored coat, pinkish nose, and signature golden locks, the animal naturally stood out among the hundreds of thousands of cattle prepared for the Muslim festival of Eid al-Adha.

To keep this high-profile animal in pristine condition, the farm provided a literal presidential treatment. The VIP (Very Important Poilus) routine required extra attention and care every day, including:

• Four baths a day to beat the summer heat and maintain its unique coat.
• Four specialized meals daily to keep its health and weight optimized.

The rigorous upkeep paid off. While thousands flocked just to catch a glimpse, a buyer looking for a truly unique sacrificial animal quickly locked in the purchase. Mridha confirmed that the viral buffalo has already been safely delivered to its customer.

While a Trump-lookalike buffalo might sound bizarre, it taps into a burgeoning festive subculture in Bangladesh. In recent years, the digital landscape ahead of Eid has been increasingly dominated by unusually large, beautifully patterned, or distinctive sacrificial animals.
